UGANDA TOURISM CULTURE DIGITAL PROMOTERS. Uganda’s most pride is of tourism. She has been named the 5th top tourism destination and I really think she deserves DC it or even better.
Among many tourism attractions, Uganda has got the world’s most interesting Wild animals which are about 90% like humans. The GORILLAS .
These gorilla are not only the world’s most attractions to Uganda, but they are also special gorilla species that are found in mountains and hence called Mt Gorillas . These are unique species that can’t be found every where in low lands. They climb as high as 4127m, 3687m above the sea level.
These gorillas are found in Mgahinga national park and bwind impenetrable national park.
Mghahinga is one of mountain (Volcano) ranges that are located in South Western Uganda and particularly in kisoro district.
Bwind impenetrable national park is also in kisoro district but for it, it is shared by 3 districts (kisoro, Rubanda and Kanungu).
The entrance gate to bwind impenetrable national park in kisoro district is called rushaga gate , there entrance to bwind impenetrable national park in Rubanda district is called Ruhija gate and the entrance to bwind impenetrable national park via Kanungu is called Buhoma gate. This is how the Gorilla tracking in bwind is organized.
One thing you should note is that gorilla trekking/tracking is of fun, memorable experience in Hills ascending and descending, Bush walk through experience, short and long distances. It’s just a maizing.
Nevertheless, this seemed difficult exercise is always hardly felt because of amazing, friendly, understanding and patient game Rangers (Uganda wildlife authority) UWA has done it all for our tourists to enjoy the tourism adventure in our country Uganda.
The Rangers are always fresh and strong as well as prepared with the manpower to help in case the tourists run into trouble for instance to be carried back to the office in case they get tired of moving on for tracking, or even fail to come back after tracking.
These ladies and gentlemen are extremely exprienced to the extent that even the Gorillas themselves seem to communicate with the their Rangers.
Whoever has moved with Uganda wildlife authority staff members will always love going back to tour Uganda. Their hospitality, calmn characters and patience has made the mountain gorillas almost like 100% humans.
