News from Uganda Wildlife Authority indicate that Uganda primates and park entrance fees discounts have been extended to June 30th. This discount was first announced in November 2020 and was to end this Month. With the extension, there will be great opportunity for all those interested in destination at a very affordable price.
The extended discounts on Uganda primates permits and park entrance fees is as follows.
For mountain gorilla permits, a discount from USD 700 to USD 400 per person for foreign non residents.A discount from USD 600 to USD 300 for foreign residents.For East African Citizens a discount from 250,000 Uganda shillings to 150,000 Uganda shillings.
The discount for chimpanzees tracking permits in Kibale National Park is as follows.

Park entrance fees for major savanna parks was discounted by 50%. This will be applied to Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth, Kidepo Valley, Murchison falls and Semuliki valley national Parks.
The 50% discount on entrance fees is also applicable for game reserves. These include Toro Semuliki reserve, Katonga wildlife reserve, Kabwoya wildlife reserve and Pian upe wildlife reserve.
Important to note however the discounts is applicable for new purchase especially in regards to gorillas and chimpanzee tracking permits.
Uganda primates permits discount come at the time the world is slowly reopening for tourism once again. Given that many people lost jobs and have not been working, the primates permits discount is the best offer they could ever get.

Uganda is blessed with a number of primate species with mountain gorillas and chimpanzees being the most outstanding. These are because they share over 95% DNA similar to humans and because of that many seek to meet them in the wild.
